The night Shohei Ohtani started the 50/50 Club

It's been 4 months, but we can't stop watching this video from September 19th, 2024 - when Shohei Ohtani became the first man in MLB history to join the 50/50 Club by going 6-for-6 against the Marlins in Miami with 3 home runs, 5 extra-base hits, 2 singles, 2 stolen bases, 4 runs scored and 10 runs batted In.

Marlins fans asked for a VERY RARE road curtain call.

Good on them.

So epic.

And, because we make voice-overs, we can be critical of announcers from time to time. But on this day, the Dodgers announcer Joe Davis met the moment. The calls give us chills.

The Shohei Ohtani 50/50 game.

Best {offensive} game ever?

Probably so.

It's funny, you don't hear anyone complaining about that Shohei Ohtani contract now.

Congratulations to the charter member of the 50/50 Club, Shohei Ohtani.

Thank you for all you have given us.
