Full Disclosure: HYPE INTRO is a MIN WOO LEE fan blog. The same goes for his sister, the LPGA's 2-time major champion, Minjee Lee.
And, even though people equate us with only making baseball walkup song intros and basketball starting lineup intros, we do make Golf tee box introductions for the Drip Kings with the confidence it takes handle them.
YEAH, CHEF!
"WIN Woo Lee."
Min Woo Lee gave Scottie Scheffler, Gary Woodland and Finnish golf hero Sami Valimaki the Heisman stiff arm to win the PGA tour's Texas Children's Houston Open at Memorial Park Golf Course H-town.
It is Min Woo's first win on the PGA Tour {but I believe he has 6 wins on the DP World Tour, and at various events in his home country of Australia}.
As usual, Min Woo kept things interesting by spraying 340-yard drives all over the ballpark {incurring a couple of penalty strokes along the way}.
You can't take your eyes off of this guy.
The speed, the shot-making, the short game, the putts, the penalty strokes.
There's nothing Min Woo Lee can't do {except grow a proper mustache}.
Min Woo Lee has been one of my favorites since seeing him on Rick Shiels' YouTube channel a few years ago. It's obvious he has all of the talent in the world. All he was missing was experience, and distance control with his wedges {which ruined his chances of winning the Spanish Open a couple of years back when he played in the final group with John Rahm}.
It appears Min Woo is made for this.
Now that he has the first one out of the way, I wouldn't be surprised if the flood gates open and he went on a money run.
Â
Speaking of money, Min Woo Lee took home $1,710,000 of the Houston Open purse for his win. You can find the rest of the Houston Open purse payouts over at Golf Digest.Â
Let HIM cook!
